Education
‘Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.’ Proverbs 22:6, NKJV
Education, in the largest sense, is any act or experience that has a formative effect on the mind, character or physical ability of an individual. In its technical sense, education is the process by which society deliberately transmits its accumulated knowledge, skills and values from one generation to another.
Education, at Family Praise & Worship, has adopted this belief and strives to provide education in the following ways: Schedule of Services, Conferences, Bible studies, Men’s Ministries, Women’s Ministries, Kidz Zone and Youth Group.
Our teachers have direct contact with our membership. The membership has many opportunities to draw on several subjects from the Holy Bible, including: reading scripture, developing budgets, finances, histories, science, social skills, parenting and marriage.
This process is sometimes called schooling when referring to the education of teaching only a certain subject. In addition there is an array of education possible at the informal level, such as in museums and libraries, with the Internet and in life experience. Many non-traditional education options are now available and continue to evolve as our church grows.
