I have published my first book, called “It’s Just A Thought”. The purpose for the book is to help people and reach those wherever they may be, inspire them to change their life for the good and be closer to God.

I will be hosting a book signing on May 14th from 3 to 5 p.m. in the matador banquet room at the Paso Robles Inn.

Books will be available on site at the book signing and the books can also be purchase through our website at “familypraiseandworship.com”, Amazon and Barnes and Nobels.

HEALING OLD WOUNDS SEMINAR

Pastor Vern H. Haynes, Jr. of Family Praise & Worship is hosting a Healing Old Wounds Seminar this month in Templeton. The guest speaker will be Pastor Peter Bertolero from the Legacy Christian Church in Fresno.

“The purpose of this powerful seminar is to share very insightful healing truths with those who wish to grow in their knowledge of roots that give life to dysfunction and bondage,” Pastor Haynes says. “In order for any kind of healing to be balanced, we must heal from the inside out.” This is also an ideal seminar for those who are members of ministry so they may continue to provide biblical counseling and inner peace to those dealing with emotional pain, he says.

The Healing Old Wounds Seminar will be held at the Women’s Center, 601 Main Street, Templeton, on Friday, Sept. 19, from 6:30 -8:30 p.m and follows up on Saturday, Sept. 20 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Second annual Picnic

We will be having our second annual picnic in the park. It will be August 13, 2011, in Templeton California at their community park. Food, fun, games, and live music will be provided, and guess what? It ‘s all free. All of this fun will be between the hours of 12:00 noon till 3:00 p.m. Food will be provided for the first 200 people. As we would like to say, “There no need to fuss, have a meal on us”, just bring your blankets, chairs and well do the rest.
