Just a Thought
You never know how much you are in the Lord until the test comes.
True Repentance
2 Chronicles 7:13-15 “When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command locusts to devour the land or send a plague among my people, 14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 15 Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place. There were four conditions for forgiveness.
1. Humble yourself by admitting your sin
2. Pray to God, asking for forgiveness
3. Seek God continually
4. Turn from sinful behavior.
• True repentance is more than talk:
1. It’s changed behavior
Seeking God
Jeremiah 29:11-13 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
• God is all knowing.
• God never said that life would be easy.
• There will be times when suffering, pain, hardship and sickness may occur.
• When you call on God, Come and pray with Him.
• But when you come, come whole heartily.
• He will listen to you.
Strength For The Race
God gives us the strength to run life’s race, and the stamina needed to keep the pace; He uses the circumstances we go through to condition us for what He calls us to do. To condition us for what He calls us to do.
He strengthens our hearts, souls and minds, and lifts sin’s weight that so easily binds, that we might run with honor and grace through those difficult obstacles we face.
As we run, He is with us along the way, refreshing, and supplying our need each day. If we focus on Him and never look back, we’ll always be running on the right track.
Across the line – is a crown to be received, For all we’ve accomplished and achieved; We’ll accept it gladly when the race is complete,
To lay at our wonderful Trainer’s feet. Praise God! With Christ as our Coach Divine, We don’t have to wait for the finish line; Hallelujah!
The victory already is won, We can rejoice right now as the race is run. Father, we thank Thee for Thy saving grace That imparts to us – Strength for the Race.

He Chose Us
John 15:16 – You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.
